Abstract: This thesis explores the design and development of an International Cricket Stadium in Mysore, Karnataka, addressing the city's growing need for a world-class sporting Infrastructure. With cricket being a highly popular sport in India and Mysore's strategic location as a prominent cultural and tourism hub, the proposed stadium aims to provide a state-of-the-art facility that can host international matches, encourage local talent, and serve as a venue for various recreational and community activities. The project focuses on a comprehensive approach to stadium design, integrating functional . requirements with aesthetic and environmental considerations. The design is informed by modern architectural principles, sustainable construction practices, and the cultural heritage of Mysore. Key aspects of the stadium’s design include seating capacity, spectator comfort, player facilities, media infrastructure, and safety measures. Additionally, the project emphasizes accessibility, and the incorporation of green spaces that align with the surrounding landscape.
