Sports complex in Belgaum

Abstract

This thesis proposes a well equipped, eco-friendly sports complex in Belgaum, addressing the city's lack for comprehensive sports infrastructure. The complex integrates four stadiums, showcasing innovative design, sustainability, and community engagement & they are athletic stadium with a retractable roof, and three indoor stadiums for kabaddi, tennis, and badminton. Key Features: • Athletic Stadium: 6200-seat capacity, retractable roof, and world-class track-and-field facilities • Three Indoor Stadiums: kabaddi, tennis, and badminton courts with 1250-seat capacity each. • Extensive Green Spaces: native tree planting, rain gardens, and green roofs for natural ventilation and shading • Renewable Energy: solar panels for reduced carbon footprint • Sustainable Materials: recycled materials, low-VOC paints, and energy-efficient systems • Smart Parking: electric vehicle charging stations, rainwater harvesting.
