| Abstract: | The Agricultural Research Centre, which is under establishment in Chitradurga, Karnataka, is expected to promote a farming system that is viable and easy to increase crop output while increasing public participation as well as benefits for the target community. This unit will emphasize on providing training to the farmers about the current farming system and also about the modern agricultural business approaches, which promote environmentally friendly farming. The knowledge that the centre will seek to provide will consequently allow farmers to expand their market knowledge and become more global in scale, thus increasing their income and the income in the region. In the construction of the center, there will be use of sustainable design including biophilic designs which will incorporate natural elements. It is believed that via practical workshops and participation in campaigns and intensive studies coupled with innovation it will aim at becoming a hub of farmers adapting into more effective and cheaper practices. This effort not only focuses on improving agricultural productivity but also protects the food industry from the adverse risks of developing a high production system |
