Abstract

This architectural thesis explores the innovative design and planning considerations for a rural residential school that seamlessly integrates academics, sports, and e-sports to foster a holistic learning environment. The project aims to bridge the gap between traditional educational models and contemporary demands, focusing on the unique needs of rural communities. The design emphasizes sustainability, community engagement, and adaptability, envisioning the school as a dynamic hub for intellectual, physical, and technological development. The integration of academic spaces, sports facilities, and cutting-edge e-sports infrastructure creates a synergistic environment that caters to the diverse interests and talents of the student body. The building design complements the natural setting, cultivating a link between learners and the surrounding environment. The residential aspect is carefully considered to provide a nurturing atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging and community. Shared spaces, green courtyards, and communal areas are strategically incorporated to encourage interaction, collaboration, and a sense of unity. The Smart classrooms with the interactive learning tools and virtual reality enhance the educational experience, and also preparing students for digital landscape of the future. The sports facilities cater to various physical activities, promoting healthy living and teamwork. The inclusion of e-sports facilities recognizes the evolving landscape of skill development and the increasing importance of digital literacy. The design incorporates state-of-the-art gaming arenas, offering a space for competitive gaming, collaboration, and skill enhancement. The integration of e-sports into the curriculum make sure that students are not only academically adept but also well-versed in growing technologies.
