Abstract: | “Hope Haven: Rebuilding lives from Addiction” Architectural thesis aims to design a comprehensive Drug De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Centre that addresses the critical need for a supportive environment aiding the recovery process of individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders. The project emphasizes a holistic approach, integrating therapeutic spaces, communal areas, and environmental elements to foster healing and rehabilitation. The design focuses on creating a serene, non-institutional environment to encourage emotional and psychological recovery. Incorporating sustainable and eco-friendly design principles, the project aims to create a harmonious relationship between the built environment and nature. Through thoughtful architectural planning and design, this thesis envisions a space that not only serves as a treatment facility but also as a symbol of hope, promoting recovery, healing, and the reintegration of individuals into society. The integration of therapeutic architecture with a focus on the well-being and rehabilitation of its occupants aims to contribute positively to the larger societal challenges associated with substance abuse disorders. |
