dc.description.abstractPolycystic ovaries are slightly larger than normal ovaries and have twice the number of Tollicles (small cysts). Polycystic ovaries are very common affecting a woman. PCOS produces symptoms in approximately 5% to 10% of women of reproductive age (12+45 years old). The prevalence of PCOS depends on the choice of diagnostic criteria. About 18% of women had PCOS, and that 70% of them were previously undiagnosed in India.en_US
