dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Development has been an integral part of human life, many places which were hot deserts has turned into most advanced countries in the world, places which had no proper electricity has a high speed wi-fi’s today, Fresh vegetables and fruits which had to be picked up in the market is now delivered to our doorsteps. Yes, development is very good sign of human life advancement. Yes, Development has a positive impact on human race but if it bound to certain restrictions. In the name of development, we have destroyed acres of forests and have built modern cities with great infrastructures and industries which has great negative impacts like ozone depletion, global warming, climate change on environment which may become a huge problem in our future. Construction industries has been playing a major role in the development of any place which directly or indirectly makes it a major reason for all the environmental impacts. Architects being heads of the Construction Industries, it becomes responsibility of them to design structures which should have less or no negative impact on the environment. This Thesis explores the ways for Sustainable Construction and Making Buildings Energy Efficient.en_US
