dc.description.abstract | AIM : ● To create a recreational and usable space, and work towards riverfront development. SCOPE : ● Study attention on some development activities in Tawi River of Jammu such as prospective and pedestrian site transformation. The study aims to understand the surrounding space of the riverfront and make the river a part of people’s life. OBJECTIVES : The objectives of this study is multidimensional, which can be categorized as : ● Environmental improvement : To prevent and eliminate inappropriate use from river's edge and safeguard from pollution and revive it towards clean water. ● Social infrastructure : resettlement of riverbed activities and creation of public spaces. ● To retrieve the identity of the city as one of the most preferable water cities revive the role of the river and mark its importance. | en_US |
